Electrodes and arrays
We develop arrays of
electrodes, as well as single electrodes, for interfacing electronics
with excitable tissue, both in
vitro and in
vivo.
Applications of such technology include:
Applications of such technology include:
- electrical stimulation and recording in cell cultures
- oxygen sensing in cell cultures and in the brain (in vivo)
- electrical stimulation and recording of cortical potentials (in vivo)
- multichannel EEG (electroencephalography) in non-invasive systems
- intracellular measurements
- retina implants
- cochlear implants
- DBS (deep brain stimulation)
- FES (functional electrical stimulation)
- prosthetic devices
- sensors
