The
Hunt for the Higgs
Particle at the Large Hadron Collider
Experiments
at CERN's Hadron collider may be creating real Higgs bosons, however
theorists suspect the influence of virtual Higgs bosons is felt by all
particles with mass. In fact, the influence of virtual Higgs
particles may have provided an important clue to the Higgs particle's
own mass, even before the start of Large Hadron Collider (LHC) data
taking. In my talk, I will touch upon the "reality" of virtual
particles, I will describe the experiments and the Higgs signatures
that physicists at the LHC are using to search for Higgs particles,
and I will report on the status of the Higgs hunt to date.
