Many of the recipients of this newsletter will be saddened
to hear of the death of Richard Beeler. He had moved to
Florida after retiring about 7 years ago and he died in
late October. I do not know much more about it except
from the obituary in the Gazette.

Hi Holly,
Here is something that may interest folks who've attended in recent years.

Folks --
Sorry I've been out of the loop for the last message
or so...but I changed stations again. I moved from
Brooks AFB in San Antonio TX to McGuire AFB, Central
NJ. In the middle of the move I had a good and bad
time...first, seeing all my '83 Nisky friends at the
20th reunion was great...unfortunately the next week I
was in the hospital due to an appendicitis followed by
an abdominal abcess...at least the morphine drip was
good.
Work in NJ is a bit frustrating...moving from fighter
jets to cargo planes is not only a slow down in
aircraft, but in total culture...guess I'm not used to
slow-mo. But to spice things up I've had a few good
trips to include D.C. and Hawaii.
My next trip will spice things up even more as I'm
heading to Iraq just after New Years. Taking over a
MASF (Mobile Aeromedical Staging Flight) there...a
unit which specializes in aeromedical evacuation.
So enjoy the holidays, have a great New Year..and
watch the TV and maybe I'll be one of those guys
screaming like a fool when ABC sports shows military
people watching the superbowl from Iraq.
Take Care,

I'm still in Rochester, NY - the longest I've ever
lived anywhere - with my husband of 13 years, identical
twin first graders and an infant - all girls. I found
cool projects to work on at Kodak, Chandra Space
Telescope, as a Structural Analyst, quit work with
the twins, and went back part-time this year...
I need to get going, I'm totally caught up in the
holiday frenzy...
Later!

I was in Nisky for Thanksgiving but really didn't
catch up with anyone. (Was anyone around?) My
sister Robyn ('93) had er 10 year reunion at
"PinHead Susan's" in on Liberty Street, Schenectady.
Robyn is a MBA student at Stanford now and her husband
Brendan is finishing up his PhD at Berkeley. My
brother Eric ('88) is still in Aspen where he
works for Calim Private Equity and loves telemark
skiing. He works and skis with Niskyunite
John Richards aka "JR" and travels around the
country to catch up with other classmates. Mom &
Dad still on Glenmeadow Court and running the
business. They are traveling more and more to
visit family and friends.
Robyn and I stopped by the high school and
saw a new pool and weightroom. There is also a
new gym in the back near the girls locker rooms.
Also, they covered the tennis courts and made it
into a parking lot. Are they building new tennis
courts? I recognized a few faces on the Nisky HS
Wall of Fame including Josh Seftel '86, Vikram
Krishna '86, and Colin Angle '85. We did some
reminicing in the front hallways. The rest of
the school looked as it did from HS. Of course the
area is a bit changed....the rear entrance to the
school and the newer Grunion Plaza.
I just celebrated 1 year in my house in Rochester
and 1 year with my boyfriend Paul. I'm still working
for Computer Rentals and have been active with many
organizations around town. I'm currently in a
Leadership Rochester program, chairperson of
the community service committee for Young Leadership
for the Jewish Federation, and an active part of the
Greater Rochester Visitors Association. By the way,
a new "fast ferry" will be linking Rochester and
Toronto next spring - if you haven't been up this
way to see the many great things we have (George
Eastman House, Strong Museum/National Toy Hall of
Fame, Erie Canal, Finger Lakes Wineries & more)
then I welcome you to come out to this side of NYS.
