When I arrived in Guatemala, Terri picked me up at the airport. She had been there for several weeks already, ostensibly studying Spanish at a school in Quetzaltenango, but actually touring the countryside. After looking around a bit in Guatemala City, we went to Tikal, the ancient Mayan city. Here we climbed many large pyramids:
