The Center for Neural Dynamics is a multidisciplinary research center with scientists from various departments within George Mason University. The emphasis of our research is to understand and describe the complex dynamics in neural systems using techniques from dynamical systems theory. We are specifically interested in the emergence of collective behavior across the various scales of neuronal organization, from individual neurons to various functional ensembles.
Drs. Steven Schiff and Bruce Gluckman have moved to their new lab at the Department of Engineering Science and Mechanics at Penn State.
The CND will continue to collaborate with them in the future and we wish them luck in Penn State.
